Field Discipline Specific Coordinators
(Civil; Structural; Mechanical; Piping; Electrical; Instrumentation)
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and technical support to contractors within assigned area and discipline; and/or advise, monitor and supervise work in all phases within assigned area and discipline.
- Planning and supervising site survey control, including initial layouts and spot checks of construction.
- Planning and supervising all site QA/QC programs including material testing.
- Assisting the contractors with clarification, interpretation, interference resolution and QA/QC related matters.
- Ensuring instructions, drawings and specifications for scope changes are issued in a timely manner.
- Assisting in the management of the Site Safety Program.
- Aggressively maintain a safe working environment and comply with all environmental, health and safety policies.
- Proactively working with contractors to ensure project safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives are being achieved.
- Being fully versed with the design drawings, specifications and construction contracts.
- Ensuring construction conforms to the drawings and specifications and that consistent construction practices are followed in assinged areas and disciplines.
- Assisting the project team with the reviews and estimates for contract extras and monitoring the actual daily costs submitted by the Contractors.
- Monitoring the 3-week look-ahead schedules submitted by the Contractors and reporting deviations and activities not being met by the Contractors to the Construction Manager.
- Monitoring the Contractors' approved Quality Control Programs; performing all inspections required through to the equipment tagging procedure: the civil works, concrete pours, steel erection, equipment installations, piping, testing, HVAC, electrical and instrumentation check-out and testing and assist with the pre-commissioning program.
- Submitting daily progress reports to the site construction office outlining items of concern such as safety observations/directions, non-conformance with the specifications and drawings, equipment and weather delays, site clean up, congestion, infrastructure, workmanship, quality control and potential contract extras.
- Updating the site-wide deficiency lists to be issued at weekly construction meetings.

Project Engineers, All disciplines
This position requires a minimum of 10 years experience and B.S. degree, in an engineering discipline. Experience in the EPCM industry or in the refining / petrochemical industries is preferred and technical execution of projects is required. Job position requires that the PE be responsible for large projects and interface with the client on a daily basis. Must possess a track a record of increasing project responsibilities. Professional Engineering registration is preferred. Job Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the Project Engineer is to ensure the technical integrity of the project, including compliance with the project scope, job specification, accepted good engineering design and meeting the clients requirements.
